Remarks

The two types of flowers-white and yellow-have slightly different properties: the white flower is used more to nourish the Liver and clear the eyes; the yellow flower is used more for wind-heat symptoms. The flowers can be simmered a few minutes, cooled, and placed on the eyes to relieve pain and redness.

Cautions in Use

Do not use this herb when there is deficient Qi, poor appetite, or diarrhea.
